Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in Playwright for automated testing of web applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in creating, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts along with solid understanding of QA methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and defect management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end test automation scripts using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand application functionality and define test coverage.
  • Execute automated and manual test cases to ensure software quality across browsers and platforms.
  • Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
  • Identify, document, and track defects to closure using bug-tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Perform regression, smoke, and functional testing to ensure a consistent user experience.
  • Optimize test execution and continuously improve automation framework and process efficiency.
